All House of Salgado shoes are custom made in order to give great comfort and fit.  We are one of the few remaining shoe makers in Toronto and Canada.  Our custom handmade shoes are carefully crafted and hand stitched with 100% leather sole and leather lining for outstanding comfort and appearance.

We have a great selection of leathers and exotic skins available such as stingray, ostrich, alligator and caft.
Our shoe making process presents you with many options. You may choose your own style from patterns, leathers, and colors. You can also adapt an existing style that you have always admired, but were unable to find in your size.

House of Salgado’s last makers will create a custom pair of lasts that specifically fit the exact contours of your feet.
 Once the lasts are created, our designers will produce a pattern that not only reflects your unique foot measurements. The designers work to showcase the natural beauty of your chosen leather. After the pattern is complete, our experience shoe makers will stitch the upper. The patterned leather is stitched together to create a durable upper with strong seams. It is then shaped to fit the precise measurement of your arch. And finally, a cobbler will craft a heel and sole, and add them to the shoe.

All our shoes also contain a custom made foot bed by Amfit to guarantee comfort.
